Great location not matched by food. Inedible pasta and a hit and miss ( more miss) menu , sad cos it’s a great location. If you go , go down to the pier and look at the fish …they’re fresher!

Best meal on Sanibel. Tried several other island fine dining options during a recent stay for dinner and this was easily the best. Chef’s hickory grilled mani was excellent. Good wine list too. Highly recommend.

We went for my husbands birthday and our meal was fabulous. Restaurant was fairly empty so our waitress was very attentive. Food was hot, fresh and with beautiful presentation. A definite go back.

First of all, it’s probably the best food on the island. Considered fine dining, but island style so casual attire is ok. Tablecloths, full place settings, small dining room and open kitchen. Menu is modern, just right for foodies. My only complaint was its too pricey. Rack of lamb was 42 average price is prob 35 for entree. They do have nice appetizers and salads if u dont have a big appetite or budget. I thought we could see the sunset but its across the street from the beach and the trees really block the actual sunset. The sunsets in sanibel fill the whole sky though and I’m sure if we waited we could have had a nice show. We crossed the street after dinner and found a really quiet beach, clean and spotted dolphin bc there is a harbor. I’d definitely go back but leave my kids at the hotel.

Breakfast & Lunch. I love to breakfast or lunch here. A bit expensive but worth it. I love the key lime french toast and the grouper reuben. I also enjoy the salmon salad, the banana bread french toast, the eggs are done right, overall nice menus and a good change of pace. Even though the porch is next to parking lot you can see the gulf and I enjoy it.24 Feb, 2013Creative breakfast and lunch!. I love their breakfast and lunch. Key lime french toast, grouper rueben, the salmon salad, the mussels are my favorites. My friends enjoy the omelets, the benedicts, the club sandwich. They have a nice menus.

Located well out on Sanibel Island… made the drive…very good service…good food…unfortunately grossly overpriced …certainly recommend if you do not care about $$$$$

Nice find. Walked in at 6:30 without a reservation so we dined at the bar. Enjoyed the tomato and avocado salad and the Caesar ( anchovies on top) Had the Mahi Mahi that was sweet without being overpowering. My entree was a appetizer of scallops that was done to perfection- crisp outer with a buttery inside. Enjoyed a glass from a solid wine list. Only slight disappoint is that you feel like a second rate diner at the bar.
