I’ll Return to Try The Barbecue. The onion rings were very good, and the burger was homemade, and decent. There was nothing overwhelmingly appealing about it, and was a bit lacking in construction and flavor. The basic ingredients were good, and I’d definitely return for barbecue. The staff was also very accommodating.
My family and I went in on a Saturday night around 5pm. They had about 8 customers in the restaraunt. We walked in and were seated in the back corner. We waited for ten minutes with ever having a server even acknowledgeing our presence. After 15 minutes without service we left and the front desk, even though they seated had no idea we were there. I was looking forward to eating there and was very disopointed. Want go back.
One on the best burgers in town.
Before and After… We had been here before when it was the old place and decided to give the new place a try when we drove by today. Oh my goodness! This place is 10x better than the previous barbecue restaurant. We were very impressed by the food, staff, and decor. We had the ribs and pulled pork. The ribs literally fell off the bone as you were trying to stuff your face 😉 We will DEFINITELY be back!
Bland
There is a reason this place got Rookie of the Year for the Bay!. This place has excellent barbecue among other low country dishes. My father had the Carolina Shrimp and Grits and I had some pulled pork with some house collard greens(not from the can). This place appears to put fresh ingredients as a priority and that is extremely important to me. Defiantly give this place a try and Don’t listen to these haters. This place is the rising Phoenix from the ashes of the many failed attempt restaurants before it.
A Smith. I had the chopped brisket, I would say it was pulled. It was bland and left a bad taste. I did not finish my sandwich or fries. Service was okay but this was a one visit only experience.03 Jul, 2014Not Again. I had the chopped brisket, I would say it was pulled. It was bland and left a bad taste.
