This is a quirky place. We stopped for lunch. Wife had the BLT with cucumber salad. The blt is made with fried bread. They take dough, spread it thin, cook in frying pan, then wrap it around the bacon, tomatoes and greens. I thought it was excellent, but she did not like it at all. The bread is similar to that served in many restaurants in southern Louisiana, but looks like a very thick pita. The bacon and greens are great quality. The cucumber salad was great. I had the meat loaf with baked beans, and collard greens. The beans were bland. The collards had lots of bacon, onion, and something red. They were spicy, and very salty. The meatloaf was also very salty. Not sure why the salt fetish, it really ruined both.
