Very rude owner, I posted comment about restaurant closing early with no warning. Owner responded accusing me of calling an employee a not so nice name. Advised I was not only one there and I only said ok after she said they closed earlier. I have a copy of screen shot from owner. Below is what the owner wrote. This is not first time I have seen them close early with no warning. After driving 15 minutes it can be frustrating to see a place close early (we got there at 545 and they had been closed for 30 minutes).The Chicken Coop Yes we did close early. We closed as a result of no business. It doesnt pay us to stay open late the week after a holiday. I was told by my employee that a customer said they drove minutes to get here called her a not so nice name. Thats whats disappointing to me that people have to blame others because they have had a bad day and then go on Fb and talk about it. Have a blessed night.
I came around 1:30 on a Sat and the restaurant was about 80% full. I had a chicken salad scoop which came with 2 scoops of chicken salad and 2 sides. I elected the stir fry zucchini stick and the pistachio salad. The chicken salad was ok. It didn’t have much filler and 90% of it is chicken. The zucchini stick got me all riled up because of the smell of the sauteed garlic. As soon as I took a bite, the hype went down because it wasn’t seasoned. Yes, some salt and black pepper would do wonder. The pistachio salad could be good, except that it was filled with pineapple bits. The taste of pineapple bits overwhelmed the pistachio’s. I would say cut down 50% of the pineapple bits at the very least to let the pistachio taste to shine. The final complaint is the sticky floor. The restaurant really needs to clean the floor better.
