Went for breakfast and had a terrific meal. Everything was done absolutely perfect and all the waitresses kept coming by and calling me honey. This is a local place that is right on Tamiami Trail and very very fun and upbeat waitstaff. As I was in this restaurant a year ago or so, it was noticeable how the service and overall attitude had improved. I asked our wait person Michelle that the food was even better than I remembered, but the service and food quality had improved dramatically. She shared with me that new owners took over January 1st and the new owners were hands on and just terrific people. We highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast and lunch as its closed for dinner.
Excellent. A co-worker and I were working in the area and finished up early so we decided to take a late lunch. We decided upon a local restaurant rather than a chain and both of us were very pleasantly surprised.The mark of a good diner is it’s burger. If I get a bad burger at a diner I immediately chalk it off as a bad diner. Their burger was sublime. They weren’t too pretentious with their burger (just the regular lettuce tomatoes onion toppings) and it was seasoned well (I think they used Worcestershire, too).The service was excellent (she refilled my tea at least 4 times) without having to ask for anything. The place was also very well kept-although an older establishment it was amazingly clean,I was extremely happy with everything they did. If I’m in the area again this will definitely be on my list of places to go. In fact this place reminded me of the diner I used to go to as a kid with my dad. I think next time I’m there I’m going to get breakfast.
