Ice cream is so creamy and yummy! I had the hot fudge sundae in a chocolate coated waffle bowl with one scoop of ice cream and had two small brownies added to it. It was so delicious! We visited here last year and had to come back this year. My daughter had the coffee ice cream and it was really good too. We love Big Olaf!!!

A very popular ice cream shop. There are other places in Siesta Key Village to get frozen yogurt, gelato or ice cream, but the one with the line is Big Olaf. It was especially busy this Sunday, the day before Memorial Day. The entire village was busy for this start of summer.I thought I would try something different for me tonight, a White Chocolate Raspberry. While still good (its ice cream after all) my ice cream had a pink hue but not much raspberry flavor. The white chocolate part consisted of pieces of white and dark chocolate, which is not the same as chocolate flavored ice cream, not the same at all. So much for that experiment, Im going back to something I know I really enjoy like Black Walnut or Butter Pecan. My wife liked her pistachio ice cream and commented it contained lots of nuts.
Only ice cream place around. Expensive. Good ice cream waaaaay over priced
Great ice cream. One of the best ice creamery places around – have loved it for years. Pricey but oh, so good!
