Super fresh delicious fish! Service was over the top excellent! BYOB and chill in a very casual deli style setting but enjoy great food. While we were sitting there they brought out several samples of different dishes to promote their product, all real tastey. Don’t miss this one!
So fresh! We love this place. Great food, cooked right, friendly service. And it’s reasonably priced. A home run.
Quaint! Picnic tables inside. BYOB from wine store next door. Fresh seafood fo take home rather expensive.
The fish tacos were delicious. We also ordered some boiled shrimp to go and it was very good. We will definitely go back if we are in the area again.
Im glad I went to Big Water for lunch. As soon as you walk through the door you know this is a seafood place, from the netting on the ceiling to the dcor on the walls to the smell of fresh seafood. Mainly a seafood market, they also offer a lunch menu. They have three picnic tables inside where you can sit and enjoy your food, and you can even grab a marker and leave your mark on the tabletop.I stopped in for lunch. While the menu is limited it has good choices. For me it was the Crab Cake Sandwich with a side of their homemade potato salad. The sandwich was excellent, the crab cake so moist it was a bit of a challenge to eat as a sandwich. It was definitely worth the attempt. Put together on a bun and with other toppings it was a good size. I finished off my lunch with a piece of their homemade key lime pie, tart and refreshing. What I liked most about my visit, and I really liked the food, was meeting Shea and Sebastian. I was actually lucky visiting today. It sounds like the place can get very busy but today on a Monday with terrible weather approaching there were few other customers. We were able to have a nice chat. These are happy friendly happy people with much pride in their market and restaurant. It sounds like they are doing a lot of things right.Visitor or resident, Big Water on Siesta Key south of the Stickney Point Bridge is an excellent place to check out.
