Disappointed. Menu was limited to mainly pasta and VEAL dishes. Only one chicken selection (pre made) and they could not use any of the veal dish preparation substituting chicken, which most places have accommodated me. Leads me to believe their dishes are not made to order. My selection, lasagna, looked and tasted like it was made weeks ago. My husband ordered a tortelli which were 4 oversized tortallinis that were stuffed with spinach and ricotta for $25. which was not exceptional. Our bill for the two of us, one glass of house wine, caprese salad shared and the two main dishes was over $75. A little pricey for only so so pasta.However, the service was excellent!
Ate here with my boyfriend a month after moving to Sarasota. Being from NJ and NY we were in search of some tried and true Italian…this place was great. Mozzarella was made fresh this morning and the service couldn’t have been better. Excellent fresh food served by two Italians who really aimed to please. Will definitely be coming back regularly!!

Terrible. Food overpriced for what you get. we had the caprese salad for two which was skimpy and no taste. we both had the lasagna, which was taste less and not enough sauce. very disappointing experience. we will not return!!!!

Wonderful. I have to say unbelievable! The pasta was so fresh and the taste was nothing i have tasted before. We had a wonderful experience. The owners where there cooking and serving and very nice. The tortellini is the best.
Italiano autentico. A place where true Italians would go to eat. Top quality selection of Italian cheeses and cold cuts prepared with elegant presentations. Pasta is homemade. The locale is small and has very few seats, which brings out its charm of the small Italian restaurant you could find in Italy. Thankfully, there are no Italian-American items offered. So if you are looking for Olive Garden in a small place, this is not for you. They also have a great selection of Italian wines (whites and red), and good Italian beer as well. As Sarasota’s local newspaper stated, it is a small treasure that provides big Italian flavors. E` fantastico!
