    The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had the veggie Panini without cheese, being vegan, and it was delicious. The carrot soup was to die for. The crepes also were delicious. Highly recommend.

    Waitress Was Not Nice. Treated here by friends on the Island. First time for all of us. The waitress was rude and spoiled it a little. Crepes were good but coffee was not.

    Awesome little spot. Just finished a meal of boeuf bourguignon and am floored. The owner cooks it herself, and clearly takes a lot of pride in her work because I haven’t tasted it close to this since my family went to Paris. If you’re looking for authentic flavors and atmosphere, Bonjour is the place to be on the Key. Can’t wait to enjoy the rest of the menu!! Enjoy!!

    Too Cute & Quaint to Fail. We came last year with mixed results. A cute and quaint place, then: a lovely ratatouille, a decent omelet and good coffee. The downside then was a lackluster quiche and a disappointing croissant. We wanted a light continental breakfast, so with hopes that they improved their croissants, we stopped in for one with coffee. Coffee: as good as ever.Let me say that its hard not to root for these guys; its clear theyre working their tails off. What may not be as clear to the untrained eye is that this hardworking couple must not have the foodservice chops that were accustomed to, especially if operating as a French restaurant. In spite of his earnestness, the cashiers frazzled demeanor and lack of finesse to pour a simple coffee or wrap a baguette makes me think that they must be cross-overs from another profession. Thats fine, and I admire when expats chase their own American dream, but as a foodie my standards are high, especially for French, since they have thankfully raised the bar so high. I hear that in France only skilled professionals with years of training make croissants, and since theres a bakery on almost every corner, housewives dont even bother to try. The croissants you get at Bonjour look and taste like an honest attempt, but seem like a work still in progress. Croissants arent as easy as buttermilk biscuits; if they were, every housewife would make them. Keep pushing onward and upward, Bonjour FrenchCafe!
