Inexpensive and good. I stopped in today for breakfast. It is a smallish place with about 10 tables and there are 3 stools along a lunch counter. It was pretty busy when I arrived.I ordered something called a Hot & Hearty from the specials section of the menu, two eggs, bacon, sausage, a biscuit and gravy, a side of hash browns but you can pick something else, and toast. I was not too impressed with the little sausage patties but the other items were fine. It was a nice plate of food. It was also inexpensive. On the menu it said they have been serving the area since 1992. Glancing at the prices I wondered for a moment whether these were still 1992 prices. My plate of food and a coffee was only $7.23.My interactions were all businesslike, but I would not go so far as to say the place was not friendly. They also did an excellent job keeping my coffee cup filled. Buds Restaurant is located in the Gulf Coast Plaza just a couple doors down from Robbis Reef.
