The reason it appears so busy is you have to wait 45 minutes to get your order of fries and a second beer!! Could not get water as they were out of glasses! Thank God we weren’t going to have a full lunch!!
The atmosphere is really young and fun! The waiter we had was really cool. He recommend the duck fat fries and it changed my life forever! They are so much better than normal fries. The burger options are pretty much unlimited. They even have fois gras for the burger.
Food is important, and it was good. We stopped in today for lunch. I was pleased with the food, not as much with other things. For my lunch I had their Thunder Road, a bacon and cheese burger with a size of BBQ sauce. Aside from being a little undercooked for medium it was a good burger. Lots of sesame seeds on the bun and I liked the flavor of the cheese and the thick bacon. It was not a juicy messy burger, so it was easier to eat. The burger came with skinny fries and to me they were outstanding. I love thin fries and these were salted and plentiful.I was less pleased with the overall visit. Im not going to checklist everything, a few things were showing us to a high top and quickly disappearing without making sure we were ok with it, taking too long for our server to appear to ask about drinks, overall he did not seem very happy until at the end, maybe because we had him fix our wobbly high top, food delivery a bit slow, we kept shooing a fly that took a liking to us, our server was slow on my drink refill.Im not a big fan of putting paper on tables and have had discussions with my wife where she has tried explaining to me it is much better. Unless there are crayons and my server writes their name upside down I just dont like it. Fortunately there were crayons and our server wrote his name. My final less than pleased item was the high price.So, for the food and especially the skinny fries, pretty good. For the cost and overall experience, not as good.
Not impressed at all. Burger slimy and mushy, salad not much better
Too expensive. 6 of us went to check it out.We decided on early happy hour.Most places offer cheaper drinks and apps.Beer and wine and well were discounted.No apps on happy hour menu.Took 15 minutes to receive our drinks.30 to recieve our food.Place was nearly empty.Food arrived- no onion on burger that was ordered, no fries. They arrived 6 minutes later. $7.99 is cheapest burger then charges are $.50 for add ons , like onions, lettuce etc, each! Not best burger in town, bad service!We won’t be back.Oh and we told manager, he did nothing.
Beer was great. The beer was great, I loved the atmosphere. Food was overcooked and the management staff has everyone running around in circles. This place needs a better GM. If you want great food and a great experience wait till they get all the kinks worked out. Possibly including new management.Was also a nice experience to see the bar tender chugging vodka out of a water cup with a lid and straw.
Too Noisy. Stopped in to check out the new restaurant – MUCH TOO NOISY – spoke to manager regarding the very loud music and he stated that it was their policy to have the music very loud. Could not carry on a conversation with the person beside me. A waitress said that we could sit outside where it would not be as loud but it was hot! Ok for teenie boppers but not for the regulars who dine along University Parkway. Took 30 minutes for ears to stop ringing after leaving. Do not recommend unless you bring ear plugs.
