Casey Key was buzzing for a Wednesday night at 7.30pm. I thought they must be doing something right, so my wife and I decided to dine.Food prepared from scratch using fresh produce and served hot. My wife had the special which was Swordfish, rice and veggies and I had the Grouper sandwich. This restaurant is a fish house it doesn’t pretend to be high end so don’t expect it. The restaurant is well used, worn out in places and has many wobbly tables but after saying that we returned for lunch the following day.

Incredible food! Casey Key was recommended by a local and my family and I were very satisfied. The staff was friendly and the grouper was the best we had while on vacation! Highly recommend!

Go there at your own risk. On 6-13-14 I was attacked and bitten by a vicious dog that belonged to one of the patrons. Patron was obviously a local. He did not apologize and laughed it off IN SPITE of the fact that his dog bit me and I fell face down on the deck. The Tiki Bar should be shut down. It is not safe.

Just left it was only O K The cod was very heavily battered and the fries were not the best I’ve had it’s a shame as we have had some good meals here

Awesome dinner! Fun group of 6 friends…I had delicious Chilean Seabass, my husband had wonderful grilled Mahimahi, our friends had baked stuffed shrimp with crabmeat (just the right amount and delicious crab stuffing!) and grouper sandwich-big enough for a hungry man! Food came in minutes even though the restaurant was packed! The Mango Margarita was yummy and beer was cold! Thanks GiGi for great service! We will definitely be back!!!’

Casual waterfront dining. My dad and I went here on our spring training Orioles trip. It was a good way to end the day after an Orioles game. The food was well prepared and in reasonable proportions. The service was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our meal. It started off not too well. When we arrived at about 5:50 pm, the place was packed. We were told there could be a 25-minute wait. Our wait ended up being 20 minutes. We were seated on one of the tables next to the windows overlooking the creek/bay. The chairs and tables are modest plastic outdoor furniture. Those with needs for comfort will not find it here. However, this place doesn’t pretend to be a 4-star restaurant. They have one of my favorite formulas for restaurant success: find a few things to do well and then stick with that. My dad and I ordered dinners. Mine was grouper in a red pepper sauce; his was chilean sea bass in a white wine sauce. The starch of the day was mashed potatoes. The dinners also came with gingered carrots, fresh steamed broccoli, and toasted buttered French bread. Our fish was delicious; neither of the sauces was overpowering. The mashed potatoes seemed to be whipped potatoes from a mix, but they tasted fine. The carrots had a mild ginger flavor. The broccoli was steamed just right — al dente. The toast was more blackened than browned but was still edible. My dad had a slice of key lime pie for dessert. I had a small taste. It was a traditional key lime pie with a graham cracker crust and accompanied by a generous serving of whipped cream. When I have key lime pie, i like to have enough whipped cream to balance out the tartness of the lime filling. They succeeded on this count. Overall, it’s worth at least one trip to see for yourself. However, I recommend parking in the little park just before you get to the drawbridge and walking to the restaurant from there if you don’t want to fight for a parking space at dinner. We were glad we had this idea.

Great location. Just across the one lane bridge heading out to Casey Key sits the Casey Key Fish House. This open-air restaurant along the water has been a popular place to eat or to visit the Tiki Bar for years. Fortunately for us it wasnt too popular on this off-season Saturday evening and we were seated after waiting no more than 10 minutes. It was a beautiful evening. My Blackened Grouper Sandwich was fine. I didnt notice the seasoning very often as the sandwich disappeared from my plate but I was satisfied with the choice. The fries that accompanied the sandwich were pretty average. I also got to try a Soft Shell Crab, I believe the first time I have ever had one. Im afraid I didnt much care for it. That doesnt mean it was a bad entre, just not for me. I suppose biting into it and having something squirt onto the front of my shirt kind of put me off a bit. Likely that was nothing more than a rookie mistake.Service was good, our server helpful and friendly. The food took several minutes less to arrive than the menu request to please relax and be patient, it may take as long as 20 minutes because their kitchen is small. Parking may seem haphazard and maybe it is, but there is a large parking area just across the street.Whether a resident or visitor, the Casey Key Fish House offers that Old Florida allure.
