Wish food was as good as service. I went here today and had excellent service. I love Mexican food! Unfortunatly Chicanos just isn’t good. I tried numerous things from the menu. The steak fajitas, empanadas, and tacos. No Bueno. The chips tasted like the grease was dirty and the queso wasn’t good either.
Really, really bad!!!. We ate there last wed. and it was the worst food i ever had. my husbands food came on a very hot plate….good…no ,the food was cold in the middle. i ordered the crab enchalids—no crab i could see. it tasted nasty.. i complained to the waiter right a way. no action taken !! at $13.00 you would think they would have offered me something else, or a credit, it didn’t happen. the booth we sat it was also greasy. save the trip and go to a different place.
Atmosphere was nice, music good, service was fast and efficient. The food came out quick & was excellent! We have Mexican places on every corner where we come from & this place had good authentic Mexican food. Prices were reasonable and portions large. We will return!
Friendly. We love this restaurant for its friendliness and its affordable meals. They make an excellent salsa and hubby loves the fish tacos. Fast and easy.
Horrible Food. We have been in restaurant before, but this time we ordered and picked up. My husband waited 10 minutes before someone brought his order. When he brought it home it was cold and soggy. Not one crisp nacho chip in the bunch. We couldn’t even eat any of it. Will never go there again.
Service Good, But Food had No Taste. I actually feel bad giving a bad review here. Everyone was friendly and very attentive. The place looked great and thought we were in for some good food. I had the fish tacos and my wife had the chicken enchiladas (2 with green sauce and 2 with the red). My fish tacos were bland. I had to add the free salsa to each bit to have any taste whatsoever. The enchiladas were probably worse. There was a ‘tangy’ taste to the red and green sauce on them that doesn’t seem like it should even be there. After that fact, the enchiladas also had no taste. The beans were (again) bland. The guacamole also had a mysterious ‘tangy’ taste to it. But again, friendly service all throughout. Sorry guys.
Best Mexican food in SW Florida! If you want an awesome authentic Mexican meal, this is the place! The brickyard used to be my favorite, but since their food and service have gone downhill, we wanted to try this place. No regrets! We will make a special trip from North Port just to come here. And the waitstaff is top notch too!
