YUCK!. My boyfriend and I went there tonight. He ordered the Mongolian beef and I ordered General Tso’s Chicken. First off the beef was liver…SICK! People may like it but both of us absolutely HATE liver…to top that off the texture of it was leathery. As for the chicken, I ordered it with lo mein. The noodles were SO overcooked they had the consistency of jello. The chicken was mediocre…had a mushy and bitter taste..would definitely not return.
Best in Sarasota. We love China Wok. We’ve lived in Sarasota for over 10 years now and they are the only Chinese food place that we go to. We’ve tried many over the years but we always come back to China Wok. The food is always piping hot and ready in 15 minutes. It is consistent every time we’ve been there (which is at least once a month). Whenever we’re asked for a Chinese food place in the area we always refer them to China Wok. Keep up the good work!
Another sad eatery….. This place like many others in Florida area have never discovered what great food can be. Everyting we had was gross, flavorless, over salted and way over cooked. Many of the combo plates we ordered had a wierd metallic flavor to it. Most likely MSG or some other wierd chemical. I would never go back. The only good part of the meal was the steamed rice. Everything else was eaten slightly then tossed in the trash. If you like GOOD food NEVER eat hear.
Very good food. Eating this food as I type. Just ordered and picked up: Chicken Friedrice (lg), 4 eggrools, mixed vegetables in brown sauce (lg), and sweet and sour chicken (lg). Family all agree taste great and I loved the fast service and price, ordered via phone, was told 10 mins, I was there in 12 mins…..food was ready…..price for all this… $29.84 what a deal. Last time I took my kids to fast food we spent that much and no veggies and food that was average. I will order from this place again. My review….try it…and ENJOY!
Great!. A 1/3 of the price and the same quality of food as the more expensive places. Very friendly and family owned place and great, great food. You wont be disappointed. I’ve used them for years.
This place is a jewel. Owner and chef is so friendly and the food is always fresh and good. Would highly recommend.
Great place for quick food. Very fresh food, cooked well. Crab rangoon is always yummy!
