‘atsa good meatball. Forget the garlic bread. Get the great meatballs- not rubbery, great consistency and taste. My Italian American husband grew up with homemade meatballs in South Philly. He says these are just as good as those made by his mother and al! his other relatives. The sauce is good, but not enough of it. I froze them and took them back to Philly. And now for the forgettable garlic bread. It’s awful- some kind of thick, doughy flat bread with butter and garlic flavoring– heated in a microwave!The house salad is decent; fresh, crisp and just the right portion.
About average. I stopped in tonight for pizza. They do offer other items but it was pizza I wanted, and without my wife with me I could go all out and get something loaded with meat. So I did. The personal sized 12 pizza looked pretty big when it arrived and I was grateful to my server for suggesting a 14 would be too much food for just me tonight. The 12 was plenty big.It started off being a little greasy, and of course it would be. The more I ate the less I liked it. I dont think there was anything wrong with the pizza but I never had a time where I thought Great pizza. Id consider it about average.Service was fine, everything happened about as expected. When ordering a pizza you need to wait for it to be cooked, so it isnt going to be done right away.The place was also fine. They have a few TVs over at the bar area where they also offer a large selection of craft beers. City Pizza is located just south of Stickney Point Rd on Midnight Pass Rd on Siesta Key, there is no sign of any city. For now they do not open until 3pm but will likely start opening for lunch again closer to the season.
Pizza. When I walked in on a Friday afternoon, during season,the place was empty. Ate a slice of the sicilian pizza-the worst pizza that I have ever eaten. The Stoffer’s French bread pizza is much better. Even Hungry Howie’s is better than this. Although the crust of the sicilian slice was good-the toppings-just pizza sauce & cheese had absolutely NO flavor & that I had put additional parmesean cheese, black pepper & garlic powder on top and still tasted like crap. The sauce needs to be spiced up & they need to get REAL mozzarella cheese. Wonder why the place was empty?
The service was great and the food was delicious. They offer a split option for $2 extra that is perfect for couples. We had the chicken parm split and it was as much as two whole meals. All food is served with bread also. Great place to try in Siesta.
My favorite Pizza. Loving eating there, it’s my favorite place to eat pizza on vacation. The pizza is very good and delicious. Some of the waiters lack good customer skills.
Tastes good. The pizza is good but not excellent. The toppings were good but the crust was a little too chewy for my taste. We are here on vacation and originally from Buffalo so maybe we are a bit of pizza snobs!
Great tasty food. Great experience, good food, super server (marina, i think). the menu offered something for everyone in the family. pizza, pasta, calzones, and incredible dinners. they also have a great breakfast menu, which rivals any high end chain breakfast. i (we) just can’t say enough good about our meal(s) there. we are never disapointed on each visit.
