Had the early bird or sunset ny steak-awesome Japanese Steak house meal for under 20 bucks. 5-6pm
If You Like Rude Service. If you enjoy horrible service and want to pay too much money for average sushi, then by all means, this is the place for you. My overall experience there was horrific and the manger was totally rude and unapologetic!
Daruma is the very best Japanese raetraunt in Sarasota. The service is excellent . When walking in the door you are very well greated. The food is outstanding ! The drinks even better . Don’t forget to stop by the bar for an after dinner drnk !27 Mar, 2012I order the filet migon and shrimp everytime I visit Daruma and it is the best I’ve tasted ,guaranteed! I would never give up a chance to dine at the greatest, most gorgeous (and cultural) steak/sushi lounge in Sarasota, known as Daruma.
Greatest japaneese food in town, but the prices are way too high
Excellent Hibachi and great atmosphere. Love love love the fried rice and the double filet meal. Just oh so so good. The shrimp appetizer is delish. The house special dessert is to die for. Also, after diner go visit the piano man for an after dinner drink. Love the ambience and the food. Better than the other joints in town.
