Great evening. It had been a long time since I last visited a restaurant with Teppanyaki style cooking. I still remember when the Benihana restaurant chain did it back decades ago and I still like the little show that accompanies the meal. No kids at our community table tonight so it was not an elaborate show, but the banging of utensils and the eruption of the onion volcano was still great.I also enjoyed watching the cooking. We had a variety of food and it was interesting to see how organized everything was. The clear soup was delicious, the salad not so much. For my steak and chicken combo the steak was perfectly cooked and the chicken was good. They didnt cook a big pile of bean sprouts at the end, I kind of missed that.Our cook did fine, nice guy and did well. Our server was very personable and I thoroughly enjoyed his attention and his joking around.It was plenty of food, yet, in the end we got dessert. The tempura ice cream was so popular we ordered more. It was a great evening.
