Was not at all what I expected. Service unwelcoming but on point. Pizza was over priced, not as good as it should have been, and the sauce was not good on the pizza. I ordered the fettuchini alla carbonara and it was also way over priced, small portions for what you pay, and it was way over salted (even though it had prosciutto in it which is very salty.)It was a miss for sure and I would never go back.
Fantastic Gnocchi!. This was about the best gnocchi since I ate at Massimino’s in Boston. Mama apparently makes it in the early hours – wow! The sauce was light and flavorful, the gnocchi floated off the plate. Have recommended to everyone. Great friendly service, too.
Not bad. It’s not entirely clear what is going on with the reviews of Italian resturants around the siesta key area but I would guess there is some kind of interesting competition going on given the reviews on this website as well as others because some of them seem quite contrived. So my wife and I found ourselves without any good guide but were in the mood for Italian. Tried this place because it had parking outside (an important detail in siesta key and FYI for those who do not know). Anyway, my wife and I thought the service was fine and the food good. My wife had the gnocchi and liked it but it wasnt earth shattering for her. I had the lasagne which was very, very good. The last time I had lasagne that good was years ago in Milan. My son had the cheese pizza which was also really good. I think they would be a good place for a pizza if you were interested in that. Thought the price was fair enough. Overall satisfied.
Expensive. For what you get at the bar part of this restaurant I would expect more, the one thing I will say is the antioasta is a wonderful value, but the other apps are over priced, go here for pizza or a full on dinner but don’t go for drinks and apps, wine pours are small but in general some nice italian food
