Alexis and Jennifer both grew up in their grandfathers pizzerias. Combining Alexiss Chicago style dough with Jennifers Long Island style dough, they came up with the delicious end result of Hashtag Pizza. A medium thickness with just the right seasonings, cooked in an old school stone oven in the most unconventional way On Wheels! Building The Bus After purchasing an old Church bus, it needed a complete overhaul. The interior was completely ripped out! Alexis used her skill in welding to take off the back end of the bus in order to fit the pizza oven inside and then reseal it. The windows were switched around to allow one side of the bus to be completely opened up to serve the community. The bus was handpainted and each day, Jennifer writes the daily menu on the chalkboard along the side.
