Hot Diggity Dog does it right. I have been to Hot Diggity Dog many times. The hours they were open varied many years ago but they are more consistent now. The food is very good. The coneys are not true Detroit Coneys but the chicken salad sandwich is the best I have ever had. And the fries and onion rings are great too. Everything is fresh. I like the family that runs it. I think if you want to speak with someone who agrees with your politics, look in the mirror. I wish everyone agreed with me too but I am always ready to consider someone else’s view. Then I can agree or disagree, or just walk away.

Good food. A family owned and operated restaurant for over 40 years, I have driven by numerous times. Today I finally stopped in. Im glad I did, I had a nice lunch. I ordered the Original Hot Diggity Dog (A Coney Island style chili dog), but at only $3.49 I assumed it was not going to be very much food. I was correct. I also ordered the Dave-O Burger, and that was more substantial.The dog was good. It was not a standout menu item to me but I can see how it could have been very popular many years ago and for all I know still is. Nowadays I am looking for too much food and it was the burger that fit the bill. I got it all the way and the blend of ingredients was excellent. It is a multiple thin patty burger (there is no grease dripping off your elbows) with bacon and onion rings and it was delicious.I found the place friendly and comfortable, with other customers providing their own good reviews when it was discovered this was my first visit. They have a seating area with 10 tables and a TV in the back. They are open until 7:00 on Tue-Fri.
Very nice & personal costumer service.. Shared malt , burger & dog w boyfriend. Great for those cravings for comfort.. We ll b back.!
