Great Place. I finally made it here to try their gluten free baked goods and soup. They make fresh gluten free items on Fridays. I got a key lime crumb cake that was incredible, and cream of broccoli soup that was very good too.
Best breakfast sandwich ever. Get candied bacon.

It was ok. We stopped in this morning not knowing for sure if they offered breakfast or just bakery items. Turns out they have both breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I tried their egg and cheese sandwich with ham. It was small.A small sandwich leaves room for a tasty bakery item, in my case a chocolate croissant. It was fine with plenty of chocolate. I thought it was a little pricy at over $3 and seemed a little doughy, but still good.As for the place itself, it is small. There are just a few places to sit inside along a counter or at the one high top, and a couple of tables outside. Most customers who came in while we were there picked up items to go. This is not a bright shiny inviting place. They have one display case and another portable case they moved around when it was in their way. I cant describe Jim’s Small Batch Bakery as a hole in the wall great bakery after only one visit, but (especially after reading the other reviews) it is possible that is what it is.
Great Little Bakery. This bakery features fabulous handmade bread, desserts, breakfast muffins, pies, tarts, croissants, cookies, macaroons, etc., made fresh daily They also offer made to order breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches. We almost bought one of everything. What a treat to have such a gem so close to our home away from home! Highly recommend!!
Hot and fresh. This bakery was recommended by another local business and I am so glad they did. I went around 9 and everything was coming out of the oven hot and fresh. They have very unique items that I haven’t seen before like key lime crumb cake and blueberry cheesecake coffee cake. The blueberry coffee cake was delicious and the chocolate croissant was out of this world, esspecially since it was warm. My friend had a sticky bun and I could not resist tasting and thank goodness I did because it was soft and sweet and covered with sticky sweet pecans. I was definately happily surprised to find this place and can’t wait to go back again!!
Incredibly good bakery. There is a reason that all of the reviews are 5 star….if I could give it 6 stars, I would. The breads change each day and are available in different sizes. Order Challah on Thursday to pick up on Friday. The pastries are just wonderful and I don’t even have a favorite because they are all so good. Very highly recommended….it’s worth a special trip to Gulf Gate just to try Jim’s baking….and you will come back again and again….it’s that good.
