Horrible Person. While the food is great, the delivery man working Thursday to Sunday is absolutely disgusting. He’s sexist and disrespectful. It’s sad that you can’t order a meal without being hit on and then told that if you don’t tip, he doesn’t deliver. I’m obligated to pay for my food and nothing more. The sad part is I was going back in to get a tip for the driver. Consider this my last order.
A very nice lunch. This was just the perfect inexpensive Chinese restaurant, from the music to the dcor, right down to the astrology placemats, to my soft-spoken server, to the very good food. They offered several lunch specials that included white or fried rice and a soup. I selected their Pepper Steak.First, a bowl of fried noodles to get me started, followed by a bowl of soup. On a whim I selected Egg Drop Soup. Before I had even finished my soup my Pepper Steak arrived. It was a good amount for a lunch special and for those with a limited amount of time for lunch, all this happened within about 5 minutes. All the food was very good. A fortune cookie to finish the meal and I was very satisfied with my lunch today.
VERY much satisfies the Chinese food craving. I carry out from New China about once a month. I think their food is very good, but that’s my opinion from an American pallet. The other thing that you cannot beat are their prices and food quantities for each order. All in all, this place most definitely always satisfies any cravings that come up for me for Chinese food.
Satisfies the Urge for Chinese Food. Since we moved to Nokomis two years ago, we have found very few Chinese restaurants in the area to which we would return for another meal. Although the menu selections are limited at New China Restaurant in Nokomis Village (Trail at Laurel Road), goes a long way towards satisfying our yen (pun intended) for good Chinese food. This family run business is a welcoming place. The chef accommodates specials request whenever possible. Forget the Chinese salad bars; at New China the food is always fresh and cooked to order.
Best in Venice. Great food, and nice owners. I think the bad reviewers are part of the 5% that will never be happy. We have never had bad food, or problems with the staff.
Great food. Best chinese food ever. Lots of meat and vegetables. The portions are huge. Would definitely go again.
Rude and should be grateful. February 21, 2014. Completely screwed up order and when called just to advise and didn’t want the driver to come back for the rest of the order, the guy was a complete douche. Furthermore the woman who takes the order after saying thank you to her just hangs up. Patronize another business who appreciates it. Both rude beyond belief. Food is iffy, since when does egg foo young come with broccoli?
