Great Food~Worst Service. We took our friends who came in from out of town thinking it would be an amazing experience~WRONG!!! After sitting down for 20 minutes w/o anyone coming up to us, should have been a clue but it was a beautiful night with the full moon on the water so we hung in there. Server finally came after speaking to hostess(s) more than 3x’s. He finally brings us water and bread. We order drinks and appetizers…….which come in @ an hour with NO ONE coming to our table to refill water/bread/butter. Embarrassing for us!! The dinner FINALLY comes 2 hours after we sat down. We would have left much much earlier but our friends had not eaten since 3 PM coming from Orlando to eat with us! WHAT A MISTAKE~ can you imagine if it were in-season!!!
This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Extremely rude hostess, freezing cold table with no heater and the escargot tasted like rubber bands. Save your money and dine anywhere but here!
The food and patio are both amazing. But dinner for two can be $120+. Worth it if you can afford it.
Ophelia’s ruined my Mother’s Day. After learning that my mother had dinner plans at OpheIia’s the night before mother’s day I called and ordered a gift certificate as a surprise. I asked that when she came in for dinner the gift certificate be given to her… well they forgot! and ruined my Mothers day surprise. I live out of state so this was not a quick fix and when I called that next morning to find out what happened I spoke with the manager Les who didn’t seem to care he simply said he would take the charge off of my credit card. I work in the restaurant industry and this guy obviously needs to train his hostesses better. Such a disappointment and nothing done to fix the problem.
The crab cakes were light and fantastic, scallops were delightful, and the flourless chocolate tart was superb!
Hotel Ballroom. As charming as the setting is on the water, the food was exactly as could be found at a corporate function in a hotel ballroom. I so wished the other reviews I read were wrong…but they weren’t. Wouldn’t waste your time, or your money.
Eggplant crepe was DRY but portions of Parmesan and chive crusted yellowtail HUGE. Like this place for ambience. Servers attentive
