The Valet driver almost crashed my car!! Valet drivers speed through neighbor’s property with customer’s cars on a regular basis’s and almost caused an accident driving the wrong way last night. No recourse when the Valet damages your car. I wouldn’t trust them with my car or my car keys.
Too Little of a good Thing. My dining companion ordered a grouper special and I had a scallop special. The good: both dishes were correctly prepared, attractively plated, and served at the proper temperature. The bad: a very small plate of dry (not crusty) bread was delivered to our table with our drinks. Both main dished appeared to be child-sized portions. The grouper dish had what might have been a 2oz. filet, two tablespoons of smashed potatoes, and a very tiny twig of broccoli. My scallop dish had three (3) medium sized seared scallops, two tablespoons of risotto, and two anemic miniscule twigs of broccoli. Both of these dishes were priced in the $37.00 range and no salads were included. All tables were crammed too closely together and we felt hurried to complete our meal. Much better seafood is to be had in the Sarasota area while paying a market-driven price if you can do without the pretentiousness.
