Awful Experience. I’ve been eating here for about ten years, but never again. They’ve gone seriously downhill in recent months. Hot and sour soup was goopy and disgusting, crab legs are mediocre and extremely difficult to obtain because they bring them out 3 servings at a time. If you’re not willing to stand around for 5 to 10 minutes, you probably won’t get anything but scraps. After 45 minutes I finally had to ask the manager to refill the oysters because they were just empty shells. The BBQ ribs were the toughest and driest I’ve ever come across. The sushi is attractive but the rice was incredibly dense, so much so that it was nearly impossible to taste the other ingredients. The raw oysters alone might have compensated for some of the disasters but I tried so many things and they were the only item I enjoyed. Service was among the worst I’ve ever seen, drinks were not refilled until we flagged someone down and then were brought without ice. The server actually reached over my girlfriend while she was eating to grab something off the table. Aside from the sushi and kitchen guys stocking the buffet, the entire staff appeared to be angry and unfriendly. When we expressed our disappointment with parts of the meal, the owner simply stared at us and said nothing. The buffet on North Lockwood & University is so much better I’ll drive 30 minutes to get there even though I live about a mile from this place.

Lovin’ the orient. My favorite buffet in Sarasota. They have tons of different things to chose from, and the sushi and crab at dinner time makes the increase in price all the more worth it. I mean, really, all you can eat crab and sushi for 12 bucks? Thats great!
Food is ok, however the bathroom is not very clean.
