Good food at a good price.. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, on a wooden deck next to the pool, with comfortable chairs under umbrellas. The food is good, not extraordinary, but good and at a really good bargin for a hotel restaurant. The only failing is the spotty service.
Party time tonight. It was not their typical evening, tonight was a big dance party with a popular Tampa radio personality. Located in the Bentley Boutique Hotel along US41 in Osprey, it was a busy night. The dancing was inside, the Tiki Bar and Grille is out by the pool. It was not as crowded outside.They were grilling up 3 food choices, chicken sandwiches, burgers, and Italian sausages. I had the burger with cheese and it reminded me of a backyard picnic. The burger was thicker, kind of dry, and had that same outdoor grilled flavor that brought back good thoughts. Mine came with a big scoop of potato salad.The setup was to pay for the food at the bar and they give you a card to give to the food preparers. It was a little confusing to me, no signage, but people in line were pretty good about checking with new arrivals to be sure they had paid and had their card.I have no idea what a typical evening is. This evening was good with live entertainment at the Tiki Bar and the smell of a cookout wafting in the air.
