It was a delicious calzone. Papa Nicks Special Calzone is filled with pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushrooms and cheese, and it was delicious. Papa Nicks has been around for awhile. Sometime fairly recently they moved from their Beneva Rd location to here on Fruitville just west of Honore. Then again maybe it hasnt been that recent. Anyway, I arrived for lunch and was greeted right away and for me, service was fine. My food arrived a little over 10 minutes after being ordered. The restaurant interior is tastefully decorated. Im going to whine about using paper on the tables. Yes, it is practical and the white sheets of paper placed diagonally on red tablecloths looked nice, but I prefer cloth over paper. Not a big deal. On the plus side they have a wall full of items showing where they have sponsored various sports teams over the years and have helped the community in other ways, and that really is a big deal.

Homemade Salad Dressing. I just love love love the homemade salad dressing especially with the Greek salad. I always get the spanakopita which is also very good. The service is excellent. I go so much, they know who I am!
