Best pizza in town. This is a tiny mom-and-pop place but the food exceeds the atmosphere. The cheese and sauce on their pizza is so good and they have great cesar salads! Not pricey at all!
Now owned by Dawn and Ryan. This is a small place, maybe a half dozen tables inside, and a couple of tables outside if you want to sit there to eat your food. It is an old place but seemed clean, an old TV in one corner. I stopped in for lunch, my first visit.I had noticed a lunch special sign in the window, two slices and a drink for $5.00. When I ordered the special at the counter the guy immediately put two slices of cheese pizza in the oven, so I guess the special did not come with a pizza choice. Still, the pizza was pretty good, and the price was pretty good as well.I was the only customer on this Thursday about 12:20 for the 15 minutes or so I was there, and I saw no activity as far as getting any pickup or delivery orders ready. Not a good sign. I asked about the lack of customers and found out they can get busy and sometimes like this afternoon it gets slow.Pasta La Pizza, Baby offers pizzas, 7 inch subs, and even a few Italian dishes. Formally known as Pontillos Pizzeria, they are located in the Gulf Gate area.
Try the calzone. Great fresh food made to order. One calzone can feed two people. Subs are also good.
