I had an excellent pizza. I like pizza with a lot of stuff, something I dont often get to eat, but I did today. Listed as Pizza Chefs favorite, I tried an 8 Chefs Abbondanza, and it is now one of my favorites too. I wondered being a personal size whether it would really have a lot of stuff, and it certainly did. I posted a photo of this delicious looking and delicious tasting pie. It certainly filled me up. The crust and pie was great from one end to the other.The place looks so typical, a long narrow room with the counter and cooking area on one side, a line of tables along the other size. It was not very busy for lunch today. I particularly liked the people. It is an order at the counter they bring you your food kind of place. My pizza came on a real plate. So often Im expected to bus my own table at these inexpensive places. I was pleased to see a sign that said just leave the dishes on the table.Pizza Chef is located in the Sarasota Commons shopping area down by HH Greg. There is lots of parking.
