A bit slow but excellent food. For a special occasion we stopped in for dinner. It was kind of dark inside, especially the corner we were led to, and noticeably noisy. I had checked the menu beforehand and had decided on their Bangers & Mash. It took my wife a little longer to pick the Slow Braised Short Ribs.Once we placed our order it took about 15 minutes before the food arrived. Thats not bad and the food was delicious. My wife bragged several times on how good her entre was and I also liked the bangers. After we finished we were interested in dessert. I dont think our server expected that so that took a little time to find out what they had so we could place our order for their Bread Pudding. Boy was that dessert good. After we waited what seemed to be too long for the pudding to arrive I started timing and it took another 12 minutes. That was too slow.I liked the place and our server and we didnt need to be in so much of a hurry. While we were there an Irish band started playing and people were having a good time.
Welcoming Pub With Great Food and Music. We have visited Pub 32 Irish Gastropub several times in the past few weeks for dinner. Never having been to a gastropub, just to pubs many many years ago in the UK with 2 or 3 heavy, fatty meal choices, we did not know what to expect. The dinner menu was a delightful surprise: although smaller than what a large restaurant would have, the choices nevertheless are quite varied and have all been delicious and extremely well seasoned–nothing like pub fare of yesteryear. We have eaten from the appetizer, dinner entree, and dessert choices, all very satisfying. The nightly specials are imaginative and terrific – most recently: meatloaf stuffed cabbage over a butter bean cassoulet! We have also sampled many of the interesting wines and brews available. The interior of the pub is both welcoming and beautifully done in dark wood and Irish accents. There is great musical entertainment Wed-Sun nights, whisky tasting Monday nights, and pub trivia quiz night on Tuesday nights. Managers, servers, and clientele are friendly with many regulars stopping by often. Since the pub is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, we hope to stop in for lunch soon.
The Reuben was decent but the fish and chips was awful, definitely not worth the money. The service wasn’t good either.
