Fresh donuts. Publix, while mainly a grocery store, also has deli and bakery sections. The deli has both premade items as well as offering made to order items such as sandwiches. The bakery has donuts.When I looked in the bakery case I saw giant cinnamon rolls with a cream cheese frosting that almost made me change my mind, but I stuck with the plan and got 2 donuts. One donut I selected was jelly filled, the other had maple icing. The bakery person who got the donuts for me was nice, as was the cashier in the main checkout area.This Publix has a dining area back behind the deli with several tables. Once you pay for your food, you can sit and enjoy it, which is exactly what I did.
