Disappointed. We have been going to rosebuds and normally very pleased with the food. Yesterday was a huge disappointment. My husband normally has the prime rib and it came to the table cold. Sent it back and again was returned to him cold. The Caesar salad was not enjoyable. The biggest disappointment is allowing dogs in an indoor restaurant. Not their place. We will have to rethink our return for a meal.

Our place. We have been going to Rosebuds for as long as it’s been open and I can’t say enough about this place it’ owners it’s people it’s food it’s just the best place to go and just sit at the bar and chat with all the people there.
Customer Service?. My wife and I were in for dinner last Thursday evening. We sat at the bar. My wife and I and a gentleman to our left asked the bartender to put on the news. She outright refused, saying it was too depressing. 1. The customer is always right. 2. She was too busy to be watching the TV. 3. Nobody else was watching the TV. What is wrong with this pictrure? We customarily dine here once a week. In the future, unless the bartenders are more amenable to customer requests, we will not. And, we will pass the word to our friends.
Love this place!. The atmosphere is very nice, quiet and warm. Decorated very well. The Escargot is OUT OF THIS WORLD! And for the price…! I had the Filet Mignon and my husband had Prime Rib…both were delish! The only thing that I would complain about is the salad. The olives were very bitter and the whole plate lacked something. I would suggest LINDSAY NATURALS olive brand. Other than that, this restaurant is PHENOMENAL!!
To me, it was great. We decided to race to Rosebuds tonight for their early bird special before it ended at 5:30 and arrived with just a few minutes to spare. No problem. Rosebuds has a dark wood elegance from a time long ago. It was fairly busy, the age of the patrons high as you might expect in Sarasota (or in this case, Osprey), especially when arriving early. I very much liked this comfortable and relaxing place. They even have a dessert tray, an enticing yet dated temptation that again reminded me of a bygone era when dining was sometimes special.As for the food, it was excellent. In addition to their early menu offerings they had a special, a Rolled Chicken with sage and cranberry stuffing with a nice sauce and sweet potatoes. It was not a large serving, but large enough. My wife had the prime rib and it looked great. She confirmed it was. Preceding our entre we both had Caesar Salads, the house made dressing made this one of the better Caesars Ive had for a long time. We finished by sharing a Key Lime Pie, smooth and delicious.A high standard for service was easily met, enough attention at the right times, knowledgeable and helpful, easy to talk with, and our food courses arrived in good time. Without going into detail, I did notice another server helping another customer that really made an impression on me, in a good way.I dont flag many places as favorites but it is an easy decision this time.
Always great. We were celebrating early birthdays and we chose Rosebuds. Rather than going someplace fancier or more expensive, we chose Rosebud becasue you always get great food, great service, great prices and end up taking home a doggie bag.They are consistently excellent. I had the english cut prime rib abd really enjoyed it.
