Very good breakfast. If you haven’t tried Scrambles lately, try it. There is every possible breakfast menu item available. I had an omelet and home fries. Every thing was fresh, hot and delicious. The food was served quickly and wait staff very friendly. My husband had the pancakes and they were delicious! My mom had the hash and she thought it was the best. Will definitely go back for breakfast and can’t wait to try the lunch menu!
Delicious. My husband and I love finding one of a kind restaurants wherever we travel. sometimes it doesn’t pay off the way we hope but this time it did. Wonderful! The food was obviously made from fresh and and made perfectly. the poached eggs with my homemade corned beef hash were made exactly as I expect and the corned beef was wonderfully flavorful. My husband’s excellent appetite was challenged as he had to force himself to push away the plate of his delicious farmer’s scramble.
Its good. I visited today at lunch, not decided whether to try the Corned Beef Hash or Shepherds Pie. On my servers recommendation, I went with the Shepherds Pie. It was a good suggestion, although likely both would be excellent choices. The potatoes were very creamy and the meat mixture flavorful. The dish arrived piping hot so it took a little patience to enjoy. It came with a container of gravy and another with peas. I enjoyed it.This is where the wheels began to come off this visit. They have a few homemade desserts and I decided to continue the English theme and try the bread pudding. Service, however, slowed way down for me. I did get my bread pudding. It was not warmed completely to room temperature and seemed a little too dry, but it was fine. Paying for my meal also took entirely too long, but I managed to get it paid. Keep in mind Im not jumping up and down trying to get peoples attention which would have been faster, I am instead seeing if they remember to circle back to their customers. Scrambles is a casual place with several tables and a lunch counter, a nice relaxing spot. If you are in a bit of a hurry you may need to speak up to move things along.
A hidden gem in Osprey. Nothing fancy at all but the breakfast’s and lunches are excellent and the price is right. Oh yea – and nice, friendly staff. Try the Shepherds Pie, or Full English Breakfast.
Perfect breakfast! Great grits! Eggs Benedict are delicious!
Scrambles is the kind of place that feels like home. We live a half mile from there and it’s reasonable enough that we go there when the spirit moves us, so to speak. Good fare good help. Highly recommended.
