Rude. Wow – surprisingly awful phone treatment from someone claiming to be the general manager at this location. Pizza is pretty good, but definitely not worth the rude attitude – especially since there are other equally good pizza options that are very close by. Will not be coming back…
Slices were good size. Thin crust and delicious. Staff was friendly and courteous. Glad I chose Solorzano’s to eat.

Outstanding Pizza!. Wow!! We were on Siesta Key for the Holidays this past Dec/Jan. and had the good fortune to dine at Solorzano’s Italian Restaurant…..AMAZING by the way. While talking with the charming Franca she informed us that her son’s ran two pizzerias by the same name. Now, I am an ABSOLUTE FOOL for pizza. Don’t care who knows it. As I am not from NY/NJ or Chicago I don’t have to waste my energy arguing which is better……I can eat and enjoy both. Traditionally though, I have preferred deep dish style pizza…..That is until I sank my teeth into a Solorzano pizza. Holy Cow folks! Do yourself a favor, if you get the chance have one!! I swear we ended up ordering 5 or 6 ( lost count). Delicious pizza, just DELICIOUS. As I said, I LOVE pizza and enjoy trying pizza from local establishments when possible. This was my favorite experience with discovering delicious pizza! The guys are wonderful, genuine folk and make sure you are taken care of. Oh! The antipasto will knock your socks off your feet and into the next county!!!!!!We can’t wait to visit Siesta Key again and Solorzano’s is a BIG reason!!
Good Pizza, Good Price. This place is good for a nice pizza, but I agree that they skimp on the cheese.
Am I back in NY. Finally, pizza that I could compare to what I grew up on. Growing up in Brooklyn, down the block from DiFara’s, and my cousins living near Totonno’s (rated by many critics 2 of the top 10 pizzerias the country) I have had more than my share of great pizza. Thank god we found this place for our weekly pizza fix. This is just like any good neighborhood pizza place in NY.Great flavor, excellent crust (for Florida), and good quality cheese makes for a nice slice. The kids working there are nice and personable too.Given the domination of those horrid pizza chains here in Sarasota,its nice that I could stop in to a place that reminds me of home.
Good pizza, but needs to load up on the cheese. Great pizza, but can be a lil skimpy with the cheese sometimes. It should be dripping off ny/nj style, come on guys!
