Interesting and tasty frozen treat. Lately Ive been reading about Sub Zero and have been anxious to give it a try. Tonight I got my chance. The person who constructed my ice cream was ready to help and answer any questions, but I was all prepared. I ordered a small, premium base, caramel and pistachio flavoring, and coconut mix-in. I could also specify how frozen I wanted my ice cream, from soft serve to rock hard.The ice cream begins as a liquid, in my case premium milk. Flavor squirts and coconut were added, and then it was subjected to frozen nitrogen. In just a minute or two once the fog has lifted, this mixture was changed into ice cream.It was pistachio green and tasted great. The texture seemed different than typical ice cream but difficult to describe because I had that coconut mixed in. It melted similar to typical ice cream.Im going to have to sample more, and soon.
