Mexican is good. I need to eat more Mexican. For years I have been saying it is not one of my favorite cuisines but I think I have been fooling myself. The wet burrito I had tonight, called The Grasshopper, was excellent. This large cylinder of food with pork as the meat was delicious from the first bite until I called it quits. I could have finished it but I would have been uncomfortably full.Our server was super nice. When she found out it was our first visit she provided a little background of the restaurant and even helped with recommendations, including this burrito. Good suggestion. My wife had a steak fajita and really liked how the meat was seasoned, and was pleasantly surprised the meat was seasoned at all. When we finished the owner even stopped by to see if everything was ok. It was.For those who have been in the area for years, The Grasshopper is located in the building that used to be Shells, and then Shucks.
What a surprise!. Excellent hot meals at a fraction what you would pay elsewhere without that annoying music and noise. This is basic Mexican made by established restauranters. Very clean. They go out of their way to get you what you want. Don’t be afraid to ask.
