A big disappointment. I was there a few years ago and loved it. We had a dish described as a Portobello volcano. It was 95% potatoes. We sent it back. In most places with good business sense they would have offered a substitute. When we refused to pay for the dish (we had ordered and eaten three appetizers, wine, another meal $25 , and 2 deserts) the owner insisted we pay $16.50 for the meal that was sent back. After a heated exchange she said pay for half and NEVER COME BACK.
Ordered the ahi tuna & avocado wrap it was delicious! The service however was below average. Mindy would not a accommodate my request of no melon in my fruit… She said it would be too hard to separate because it’s already premixed… I can’t imagine scooping around the melon would be too difficult. I would go back for the food but would hope Mindy was not my server.
Fresh, flavorful, real food. Everything we had was delicious. Best vegetarian matzoh ball soup I’ve ever had. Qinoua stufed collard leaves with bright rich tomato sauce were a treat. My husband had delicious fish and the kids goobled down homemade fish sticks and spanikopita. A real find for vegetarians, pescatarians and vegans!
