Wonderful! Not enough good things to say. Service and food were excellent even on a busy night. Went to the bar/outside area and had a drink while we waited for our table. Everything was perfect.
Growing up in New Orleans, I am used to neighborhood seafood restaurants that feel like second homes when you visit. Walt’s is the best equivalent that I’ve found so far in Sarasota. The food is fresh and tasty. The decor is super casual and the service is good, if not downright friendly. The only negative we experienced on our first visit was a table of loud, semi-intoxicated couples next to us. Thankfully, they will eventually sober up. safoodblog.com
