Good donuts. Winn Dixie is a large grocery chain and most if not all the stores in the area have deli and bakery sections. The deli has previously prepared items and can make sandwiches. I visited the bakery today and picked up a couple of donuts, a glazed and a custard filled. Both were very good.Bakery items looked to be mostly self-serve, certainly the donuts and bagels were. You pay for your items at the main registers. I didnt talk to anyone from the bakery section, the cashier was nice, even checking to see if the donuts would be discounted if I had one of their Winn Dixie cards. I saw no seating inside where you could eat your food.Winn Dixie has taken over the Sweetbay grocery stores, this one is in the shopping area at Bee Ridge and McIntoch Rds. It used to be a Winn Dixie years and years ago before it changed hands a few times. It is good to have them back again.
