Super stop. One of the best parts of my pretend job as restaurant reviewer is I have an excuse to enjoy some delicious treats. Today was a very good day as I got to try a couple of items from Yummies. My Apple Fritter and Maple Iced Donut were excellent. The fritter was as good as it looked and it looked particularly delicious. The sweetness of the donut, wonderful. There were many other choices that looked equally as good.Located next to the Dome Flea Market, Yummies is a nice independent place to not only satisfy that craving, but they also offer BBQ on Saturdays. And yes, you can get a pulled pork sandwich on a donut. Yummies has no seating inside, actually not much room at all inside, but they have shaded picnic tables outside. While I sat and enjoyed my bounty several people stopped by to pick up some food. It was never crowded but it was always a little busy.I love my pretend job, and you too should try to come up with an excuse to visit Yummies.

Best anywhere. My son was visiting from waterford ct. and found yummy donuts…now its his birthday and what do you think? thats right,we had to overnite apple fritters to him.he loves them
Love Yummies Donuts!. Every year I visit my parents for a week in Venice. Although I hate to admit it, I head to Yummies every day I am there for some donuts. They are hands down the best donuts EVER! I cannot wait until my next visit. Gotta get there early for the best choices. The coffee isn’t so great, but I don’t even bother … I just go for the donuts!
How do you not love this place?. Whoops, this review is meant for Yummies in Sarasota off of Cattlemen. Not sure if it is the same shop as Venice or not.This place has great doughnuts and bagels. Their sandwiches are pretty good also. This place really deserves our business. It is clearly a small, family run place that all of sudden finds itself several doors down from the monster competition that big chain (who can never seem to keep their coffee filled). Anyway, Yummies doughnuts are way better than DD or any other place I have tried. Support the little guys! Give them a try.
