Great local steakhouse. Alpine Steakhouse is not fancy. It’s not pretentious. It is exactly as advertised, a locally owned, family run butcher and steakhouse specializing in premium cuts of meat.Filet and bone in NY Strips were prepared to the temperature ordered. Meat was flavorful and tender. Twice baked potato has good seasoning.Ahi Tuna was ordered rare, lightly seared and was presented perfectly. Texture and taste were wonderful.Will definitely return.

I liked the food, and the place. Resisting the urge to try the famed TurDucKen and also resisting the urge to just order a steak, I instead went German and ordered the Sauerbraten. This German Pot Roast dish was good. The meat was tender and I liked the gravy. It also came with sauerkraut and a couple of potato pancakes with applesauce. My wife enjoyed her Prime Rib special. We were glad we stopped by tonight.The restaurant was also good. Yes, the building has been there for a few decades and looks dated but inside looked clean and in good condition. They have a shiny metal ceiling, I thought that was unusual in a good way. They operate a meat market as well as a restaurant.Service was also good, a little slow in spots but friendly. The restaurant had a healthy number of customers when we arrived on this Friday night but there was no wait. They have plenty of parking.
