  Homemade ice cream. We just had dinner a couple of doors down and were sitting in our car talking about stopping someplace for ice cream when we realized there was an ice cream place directly in front of us. Not able to read the sign in Spanish we didnt know what the place was but we could see inside they had ice cream. We stopped in.This is a pretty sparse operation, just a couple of tables and ice cream freezers, and walls painted bright green. You could tell just looking at the ice cream it was pretty soft. They have several flavors and even a few sherbets. Although the flavors were not labeled our server was very nice and answered all our what is this what is that questions. We also found out this is real homemade ice cream. I tried the coffee flavor and found it soft, not very smooth, but had a good homemade taste. Another good thing was the price, my medium sized cup was three good scoops and only $3.75.My wife was not impressed but I certainly liked it. We also learned they have been open about a year. They offer more than just ice cream but with the menu in Spanish…well I ran off with a menu and scanned it for others to see.
