Deserves a 5.0 all the way around. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, vegan options and a seasonal menu that satisfies all. If you’re looking for a stuffy pretentious crowd don’t come here and ruin this little gem because it’s not for you!
Interesting menu of nouveau cuisine.My meal was salmon, cooked in paper and although sceptical, it turned out rather good!The salmon was succulent and full of flavour as were the accompanying vegetables. Oddly the carrots were pale imitations of themselves – buy they were still full of flavour. Cocktails were good but relatively meagre proportions when the ice is discounted. A little on the pricey side at $80 for two…. but nevertheless, an enjoyable evening in pleasant surroundings. Mention should be made of the service also which was exemplary.

New and good. For dinner this evening my wife ordered a dish called The Meatball, I ordered their Herb Roasted Chicken with Angel Hair Pasta. My entre was good, the chicken was tender and I liked the flavor of the mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes. The dish also looked very appealing. The Meatball was a dish with a single but large meatball with spaghetti squash topped with marinara sauce. It got very good comments from my wife. We finished our meal by splitting their home-made Salted Caramel Cheesecake. Surprised we were when it arrived in a jar, and fun to eat. Delicious too.This was our first visit to Baker & Wife, open for about a month in the spot previously occupied by The Usual Place on Siesta Drive across from Southgate Mall. We really liked the place with its large windows and nice lighting. They offer a range of items from pizza, burgers and sandwiches to several creative starters and entrees.
Amazing place!. I am so excited that this fantastic restaurant is in my neighborhood! The dcor is great, the food was delicious and the staff was extremely attentive.
Came in out of the blue. What a treat. Amazing food and great atmosphere! Staff was insightful and friendly. You can’t go wrong here!
