Seafood strudle. The seafood strudle simply melts in your mouth. So light and delicious even when you are full you cannot stop finishing! The best I have had anywhere.
An excellent place for seafood. We liked out dinner tonight. We were seated right away and our server appeared in less than a minute to take drink orders. The menu is pretty extensive and they had several specials, so she had to circle back a couple of times before we were ready to order.I went with the Seafood Strudel. It sounded interesting. There were two pastry rolls containing seafood in a cream sauce with another sauce drizzled on top. Singled out the shrimp was fresh, the scallops not so much, but eaten together with the pastry and sauce it was very good. It was plenty of food, too.They have a long list of catch of the day items and well over a dozen sauces and preparations to select from. My wife had the Flounder prepared Mediterranean style, a dish similar to something she fixes, and spoke well of the Barnacle Bills version.I started with a Caesar salad. I dont know if the dressing was homemade or bottled, but it was very flavorful and there was a good amount of cheese. The one negative was after I finished my salad it still took over 15 minutes before the main course appeared.Aside from the delivery time for the entrees service was prompt and good.
Ate lunch there a few months ago. Although the food was tasty, the service was awful. Halfway through my meal, I went to the bathroom, only to come back, two minutes later, to a cleared table. I had told my server I’d be right back. When I saw my meal and drink were gone, she laughed and only offered me half a beer. Really?

On vacation here and we tried BB since it was close. Was just ok. The menu has a lot on it and the sea bass did not taste the freshest. Good tangerine cosmo however!
This is the best seafood restaurant in Sarasota.. great lister bisque soup and they have an amazing fresh catch list of fish and sauces and their portions are great
