While the food is decent, the service here is the worst. If at the very least the food was spectacular, the service might not be so terribly inadequate. I sat down and waited almost 10 minutes for any staff to even acknowledge me. Talk about failing out of business school!
Sat on patio outside which was lovely but it went downhill from there. Coffee was served cold, food mediocre and waiter completely forgot about us. We had to get up to get anything we needed – we waited on ourselves. I relied on reviews to chose this restaurant while we were visiting Sarasota. Sure wish we had gone some place else.
I’ve been to both locations in Sarasota because I liked the food. However, the service in both places is pretty poor. 4 servers were standing around and I finally had to ask is one of them could take out order. After we got our food (buckwheat crepe was excellent, potatoes were dry), we never saw out server again. We wanted to order desert and finally had to find a server to take our second order… Desert came promptly and was good.
