Great Service!. Just visiting the area. Our waiter was Tony and he did a great job. We had the chicken parm and the grouper and they were both good.
Through the years we have gone to Caf Baci several times. It is one of our special occasion restaurants. Tonight, it was again a special occasion.We enjoyed our dinner. First, they brought out some homemade breadsticks, thin, crunchy, and seasoned, and a basket of focaccia with olive spread. These were very good. Then they brought us a complimentary antipasta sampler dish that we enjoyed.For my entre, I had already perused the menu online before we left and knew what I wanted, but being New Years Eve they were using a shortened menu and the item I wanted was not included. I opted instead for the Mushroom Ravioli, a nice reasonably sized dish with a good mushroom flavor and a mild but delicious pink sauce. It was a very good second choice. For dessert I had the Raspberry Tartufo, raspberry ice cream covered with a chocolate shell. An excellent ending.The food I had was very good. As for the service, it was interesting. I would describe it as a friendly familiar relationship. There were little slips but it was all so well-meaning she deserved a very good tip. We sympathized with her when food came out too quickly from the kitchen, she got me the raspberry tartufo that was not on the shortened menu. Others on staff were also very helpful.It was an enjoyable evening to finish off the year.

Great Food And Service. During our visit, we ate at Cafe Baci twice and found the restaurant superior in every way. The gnocchi’s are delish and the snapper fantastic. Highly recommened.
The place is beautiful but the food is horrible. I had salmon and it must have been frozen because it was full of water and that leaked all over my plate. I have no problem paying for a nice dinner but this was not even nice!!! I would not recommend anyone eating there, unless you have no taste buds.
I gave my 1/2 price certificates away. After two visits based upon a recommendation from a relative, I gave the relative my $50 in certificates because we won’t be back. Too bad as the staff is very nice and the service is good. But the food needs serious help, possibly a new chef and crew. Chicken saltimbocca way way over cooked and dry, second visit the veal Parmesan was also dried out and tough, way overdone. One guest liked the eggplant, so they use the certificates because I would rather go elsewhere.
