I enjoyed an excellent Philly Cheesesteak. Charlies is located in the Gold Tree Plaza at Ringling and Tuttle. This was my first visit. The place is bright and clean. It is counter service and there are several tables where you can enjoy your food. I arrived just before noon, it should have been busier. I ordered one of their popular sandwiches, the Philly Cheesesteak. They did not have Cheese Whiz but did have a selection of other cheeses so I went with American. I have recently spent time in Philly and enjoyed many a cheesesteak, and in my opinion Charlies is just as good as Ricks or Tony Lukes, and is much better than Ginos. This was a good find.
