Duval’s is a great addition to dining on Main Street in dowtown, Sarasota. The vibe and urban beachy feel was first draw, coupled with good menu selections. I apologize for not remembering exactly what we had, but I know we both had a wonderful salad, and two different entrees and we loved every bite. To top it off, they bring small, fresh loaves of warm bread to the table that were perfectly crusted.Thoroughly enjoyed the entire dining experience and will go again.
On our family vacation we decided to come to Duvals for a late dinner early lunch. This was our first time here and it was absolutely fabulous!! The three course entree was delicious the fish was very fresh and savory to the taste. Pam was our server and she provided us with excellent service. I would recommend this place to anyone specially family’s and couples!
I had dinner with my family this evening at Duval’s and I’m pleased to say the whole experience was one that I will remember. Our meals were delicious and you could see that they were prepared by a professional chef.Our servers were knowledgeable, polite and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend Duval’s for all occasions and can’t wait to return.
Best lunch ever!!!. We are visiting from Albuquerque and stumbled upon this restaurant. Not only were the waiters wonderful but the food was to die for! Doug was so kind and did an awesome job at waiting us!!! We had lobster bisque (which was quite possibly the best lobster bisque ever), their po’boys sandwiches and fish dip!!! We couldn’t ask for a more reasonably priced place with the best tasting food! Would definitely recommend eating here!
Phenomenal service; outstanding fare!. I was shopping, hot and hungry, and I sort of stumbled into Duval’s. Jamie was my server and gave me just the right amount of attention. She recommended the black grouper; it couldn’t have been more fresh, and the tomato and blue cheese soup was the perfect starter. I’ll be back; the staff was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere quiet and inviting. I was dining solo, and I’ll bring friends from out of town next time…great place!

User reviews. Enterprising and creative place. Have tried thier various wine paring menus as well as special dinners. Have never been in any way disappointed. But if you are just having a meal from the regular menu ask for Josh’s (manager) assistance in picking the accompanying wine. He has been right on every time
