  I had the pleasure of going to Elixir Tea House for a group meeting. I was a little put off by the location due to it being in a swanky location, but I was pleasantly surprised.The establishment has multiple rooms complete with pillows and chairs which are great for conversations. In the front near the registerare tradition tables. There is art displayed throughout the building for sale. The establishment is very clean.They also have all sorts of tea and teas related items such as tea pots for sale. I am a big fan of loose leaf tea and they have it here for sale by the ounce. They are also kind enough to put a sticker on your loose leaf tea with directions on how long to steep as well as how much tea per ounces of water.The establishment also offer food to include pastries,salads and sandwiches. They also serve beer and wine.While I was there I decided to try the Marlenka which is a traditional Armenian honey cake. I also ordered the Sunset tea cocktail (no alcohol in this cocktail). When the items came to the table I was surprised to see such large portions and beautifully displayed. The Marlenka came with whip cream and chocolate syrup on the plate. The Sunset cocktail tea had a small wrapped cookie beside it. The cocktail itself had a small umbrella in it as well as chunks of whole fruit. Both items tasted wonderful.I had stellar service and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I also overheard the staff speaking with other customers and was surprised to find out the staff are multi lingual! Besides English, I heard Hungarian and French. I would highly recommend this place to a friend and think it is a great place to wind down.
