Nice breakfast on a beautiful day. We enjoyed our breakfast while sitting out on the patio. They also have tables inside but the patio was the popular place to be this day. I tried the La Greca Frittata, made with spinach and feta cheese. It was fine, although they were so stingy with the cheese it was not even noticeable. My wife built her own frittata which also lacked much of her feta cheese ingredient. Still, the dishes were well-cooked and we both liked our food. A nice side of fruit was a good and healthy balance to the drier baked entre. The breakfast menu is more limited than other breakfast places so before you go you might want to take a look online. They did have a quiche special today.Service was friendly and fine. They have been in business for just over a year and are gaining in popularity as they are discovered by more and more people. The restaurant is located along Orange Ave between US 41 and Pineapple Ave and there is parking in the back.

I LOVE this place!. This is my new favorite spot to sit and enjoy a great cup of coffee and delicious food. I love the patio, always shaded and perfect. The food is fresh, yummy and creative and the service is great. Sarasota needed this breakfast/lunch addition in this exact spot! Love it
Great food, Frindly and Clean. My team of 6 eat the food 5 days a week and we all love it. The fact that the kitchen door is open many times gives you a chance to peek into this super clean place including the restrooms. WOW if only more would be like this. We have had just about anything on the ever changing menu. A real treat Breakfast and lunch as the place rocks! Best place in Sarasota !
Yummy to Infinity. I have eaten at Fresh Start Cafe over a dozen times and have always had the most amazing food served with a smile. Not only is the food delicious and fresh…. It is presented beautifully and served with a smile.This is by far my favorite place to eat in Sarasota. Love, love , love!!!!!!

Very nice place with a refreshing and unique menu, the service was great and the price was fair too. I recommend the Shakshuka!
